“Suddenly, realities mix with fantasies; Since my childhood, these controversies occurred to me and now I celebrate having lived early with these confusions. I can confirm that it is part of the scheme that brought me closer to pictorial art. Attached to the experiences that occur in a town full of traditions, festivals, legends and the tillage of cultivated fields, where my life was gradually passing from my childhood to adolescence. Living in this magical environment has allowed me to capture these fantastic concepts. The calacas appeared to me at calenda parties, playing songs, making my heart happy and enjoying with mezcal and good viands. What to say about the chicatanas dressed in regional costumes or as vendors on market days? Or chapulines in erotic frenzy on full moon nights. Armadillos singing directly to the heart. Turtles in a great kiss sealing their perpetual love. Anyway, this great party of colors and fantasy give me the answer to the question; Why do I paint? "
